Sports Academy is proud to announce the grand opening of its new state of the 11,000-square-foot

CEO and President Aumauinuuese S. Puni has combined forces with elite trainers and consultants to provide the highest level of mixed martial arts training along with sports and conditioning training for its members. Puni is a 4th Degree Black Belt in Sin Moo Hapkido, with training directly under Grandmaster Ji Han Jae. And is a First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Puni has developed a specialized program which is known as Athletic/ High Performance training. Dan Saleaumua (NFL), Jesse Sapolu (NFL) and US Olympic Volleyball player Allen Allen are a few high profile clients of this program.

The fierce mixed martial arts training program at Sports Academy is lead by Coach Franklin Aguirre. Franklin is a longtime veteran of MMA and is the tournament director for the infamous Gene LeBells World Grappling Challenge. Aguirre's fight team is lead by light weight (155lb) Gladiator Challenge & Titans of the Pentagon (Costa Rica) welterweight (170 lbs) Champion Saad Awad and 145lb Gladiator Challenge Champion Richard Schiller.

Sports Academy has strategically partnered and formed a strategic alliance with elite training facilities including the all new North Town Gym which will open in January of 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. North Town Gym will be lead by former IFL Striking Coach Joe “Striker” Hanlin and Karate Hall of Famer Sifu Joe Solis. Las Vegas, NV is a mixed martial arts hub and home to professional fighters from around the globe. The alliance between the two "fighter friendly" training facilities will increase fighter development, while elevating the bar for mixed martial arts training facilities.

The Sports Academy is the first of it kind to implement PROPTA Personal Trainer Certification courses in Fitness, Personal training, Nutrition, and the new Velocity Sport Performance Certification, Power, Speed and Agility, MMA, Kick Boxing, Basket Ball, Football, and many more.

Personal trainers will benefit from the course and the professional instructors at the Sport Academy. PROPTA is Proud to be affiliated with CEO/ President Aumauinuuese S. Puni.
